Connect Street CRM with a single API key. Pull your Street tenancies and tenants into PropServ, let AI triage every tenant report, and watch each one appear in Street as a maintenance request — with works-order and paid-invoice PDFs filed against the property when the job's done.
into PropServ· into Street· both ways
What it does
For agencies on Street who want AI-triaged tenant reporting, a contractor marketplace and automated invoicing without a second set of records to maintain.
Browse your live Street tenancies inside PropServ and import them one at a time or in bulk. Properties are created or matched, tenants are linked or invited.
Every tenant report on a Street-linked property creates a Street maintenance request with the summary, full description and the tenant's follow-up answers, marked as reported by the tenant.
PropServ's severity score (or your manual override) maps to Street's Emergency, Urgent, High, Medium and Low priorities, so urgent jobs are unmistakable in Street.
When a contractor is instructed the works-order PDF is filed to the property's documents in Street; when the invoice is paid, the invoice PDF follows.
Each night PropServ checks Street for tenancies it hasn't seen and matches them by Street ID and address. Anything uncertain lands in a review queue where you link, create or skip.
Each report shows a Street sync badge — pending, synced or failed with the reason — and every push is queued and retried automatically.
How it works
The life of one repair once Street and PropServ are connected.
Generate an application token in Street (Settings → Account Administration → Applications), paste it into PropServ under Settings → Integrations, and hit Test connection. That's the whole setup.
Open the Street tab under Properties to see your live Street tenancies. Import individually or in bulk: PropServ creates or matches the property, copies address, type, bedrooms, bathrooms and floor area, and links or invites each tenant.
Imported tenants report by app, web, WhatsApp or a call answered by PropServ VoiceLine. AI gathers follow-up answers, scores severity and checks photos for mould.
With maintenance sync switched on, each new report on a Street-linked property creates a Street maintenance request — summary, description, the tenant's Q&A, priority from the severity score, and reported-by tenant with the original timestamp.
When you instruct a contractor, the works-order PDF is uploaded to the property's documents in Street. When the Stripe invoice is paid, the invoice PDF is filed there too.
A nightly sync looks for new or changed Street tenancies and queues anything that needs a human decision. Resolve the queue in a couple of clicks — or trigger a sync manually any time.
What syncs
A precise map of every entity, which way it flows, and what triggers it.
| Data | Direction | When | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tenancies & tenants | Into PropServ | On import, nightly review | Import from the Street tab (single or bulk). Existing users are linked; new tenants receive an invite. Nightly sync queues unmatched tenancies for review. |
| Properties | Into PropServ | On import | Address, property type, bedrooms, bathrooms and floor area copied from Street; matched by Street ID, exact address, then fuzzy address with review. |
| Maintenance requests | Into Street | Real time | Created when a tenant report is raised on a Street-linked property (per-agency toggle). Includes summary, description, tenant Q&A, priority and reported-at. |
| Priority | Into Street | On creation | Emergency / Urgent / High / Medium / Low derived from PropServ's severity score or your override. |
| Works-order PDFs | Into Street | On instruction | Filed to the property's documents in Street. |
| Paid invoice PDFs | Into Street | On payment | The paid Stripe invoice PDF is filed to the property's documents in Street. |

FAQ
Straight answers on how PropServ and Street work together day to day.
Generate an application token in Street under Settings → Account Administration → Applications, then paste it into PropServ under Settings → Integrations and click Test connection. Setup takes a few minutes and needs no developer.
Yes. With maintenance sync enabled, every tenant report raised on a Street-linked property creates a Street maintenance request containing the summary, description, the tenant's follow-up answers, a priority based on the severity score, and the original report time.
Street's API doesn't currently allow maintenance jobs to be updated after creation, so PropServ tracks progress and closure itself. What Street does receive is the works-order PDF when a contractor is instructed and the paid invoice PDF when payment lands, both filed against the property.
By Street property ID first, then exact address (first line + postcode), then a fuzzy address match. Confident matches link straight away; borderline ones go to a review queue where you link, create a new property or skip.
Tenants imported from Street who don't yet have a PropServ account are emailed an invite. Once they accept they can report issues by app, web, WhatsApp or PropServ VoiceLine.
Maintenance requests and document uploads happen in real time as events occur. Tenancy discovery runs nightly and can also be triggered manually from Settings → Integrations.
Not currently. Landlords and tenant photos/videos aren't part of the Street sync; tenancies, tenants, properties, maintenance requests and works-order/invoice PDFs are.
